Travelinformation

The right information at the right time

Our tours are designed for blind and visually impaired people. We try to avoid long-distance driving or too many changes of accomodation. We prefer to explore many different aspects of a small region and take our time to explore and enjoy details. Nonetheless we are travelling to discover diversity and different faces of nature, culture and civilization. In the following you find some detailled information about how travelling with us works!

Assistance staff

Visionoutdoor is organizing guides for all its programs. Therefore, one guide assists two blind or partially sighted people. The costs for the guidance is already included in the program fee. Although Participants can also book a one-on-one assistance. However, there is an extra charge for it. Of course it is possible to bring your own guide too. In this case, you only have to pay the program fee without the assistance component. Depending on the activities, interests, and the individual wakling pace teams can be switched during the tours. All our staff members our germans with knowledge of english as a foreign language.
Our team consists of friendly, highly trained women and men of the age between 21 and 60. All guides were trained during a workshop. They possess essencial skills, e.g., how to guide a blind person properly. To get in contact with visually impaired people and to learn more from and about them, is one of their key interests.

Program fee

For almost all of our tours The program fees already include the main costs. However, prices for certain activities (optional) as well as the costs of food in the cities have to be paid seperately by the participants. You can find detailed information about additional costs in the service section of each program. Other costs, e.g., accomodation, travel, and food of the assistance is already included in the one-on-two program fee component. If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Claudia or one of our office staff members.
